Due to the ongoing risk posed by Covid-19 (Coronavirus), and the importance of social distancing at this time, all upcoming Temple Shalom events, services, and programs will be canceled or postponed until March 31 2020. We will be monitoring the situation closely and will provide you with regular updates as we have more information.
There are people in our community who are house-bound and unable to get the necessary supplies they need. If you know isolated folks, why not give them a call? If you have a car and would be willing to drop off groceries or other supplies to a community member in need, please email email@example.com
If you are elderly, disabled, or otherwise unable to leave the house, and need help (ie: picking up groceries, prescriptions, etc.) please email firstname.lastname@example.org You can also check out CaremongeringKW on Facebook to ask for, or offer, help.
Even though we can’t all be together, we can still be a community. Times like this can be frightening, but we can help keep the fear at bay by giving back to each other.
“If I am not for me, who is for me; and if I am for only myself, what am I. And if not now, when?” -Hillel, Ethics of the Fathers, 1:14
